  I do not recommend Dr. Gurewitz or Quinn Dental for any dental work but especially cosmetic. He is a frightening practitioner. A front tooth crown broke off unexpectedly and since this was where I had my last cleaning and they seemed nice I went there for this emergency. Let me first warn you by saying rather than building a temporary crown from molds like every other place does so that it looks natural and you are comfortable waiting for the permanent one from the lab he put what I can only describe as what is like an acrylic nail but in the shape of a tooth to fill the spot for two weeks. It won't fill the space, they offer one shade of this acrylic tooth and in no way is it natural, subtle or remotely passable for your tooth. He jams it in and there it sits in your gum for 2 weeks irritating the gum tissue. Literally.
  
  He was rough and thoughtless grabbing and yanking on a cemented in crown with pliers, losing his grip several terrifying times on the slippery tooth. The first crown chipped in two months and fit very poorly in its place. I had a space between the crown he did and the one next to it that wasn't there before (I have pictures of all of this by the way). The replacement for that one broke the day after it was placed. I called and was told angrily by him that if it is to be replaced he would need to have the lab use a metal piece at where was chipping, you know rather than him doing his job by listening to me the patient when I said over and over it was hitting the bottom teeth and meticulously make adjustments like a good competent dentist would do. Nope, he couldn't be bothered.
  
  I ended up demanding my money back or I was going to file a claim with the insurance company and whoever else I needed to to get it back so I could go somewhere else to have the work done. I was terrified at the thought of him doing more work in my mouth. This place to me is a little shop of horrors and I don't recommend it or Dr. Gurewitz to anyone. It's harsh to say but 100% the truth. Your teeth are priceless and you don't want him anywhere near them. Beware!
